I want the film to be a journey of Buddha, a journey we can travel with him, to see the world through his eyes, to see the world as he saw it.

 

I want the film to be a realistic portrayal of the life & times of Gautama Siddhartha than it being an epic, I am interested in insights into his life than a larger than life canvas, I want the film to be pan out more like a character study.

What defined him, what did he like to do? What really pushed him to renounce, what kind of a mind did he carry? did he ever get angry? was he perfect or flawed just like the rest of us? To separate the myths from the persona. To separate the legends from the pure humanity of the man .
